About Gregory

Gregory McKenzie represents the United States within the L&N network, contributing nearly 30 years of experience in U.S. and international tax strategy. He advises clients on both inbound and outbound transactions, offering insight into the complexities of cross-border structuring and compliance.

Gregory is a partner at Pier Ferdinand, a U.S.-based law firm, where he advises companies, funds, and private clients — both U.S. and non-U.S. — on joint ventures, reorganisations, real estate investments, private equity transactions, and international tax matters. His practice also extends to telecommunications, tax-exempt entities, and controversy work.

He holds a J.D. and B.A. from Tulane University and an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. Over the course of his career, Gregory has worked with leading law firms and served clients navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional compliance. He is a published contributor to international tax discourse and a former member of the Committee on Professional Discipline at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

At L&N, Gregory is a key reference point for matters involving the U.S. legal and tax landscape — bringing clarity, depth, and strategic foresight to the network.
