Bernard Felten is a founding member of L&N and a long-standing advocate for its mission to foster trusted, cross-border collaboration among tax professionals. As the founding partner of Felten Assa & Associés, a boutique law firm based in Luxembourg, Bernard advises clients on high-stakes matters involving tax law, corporate structuring, mergers & acquisitions, and financial regulation. With over 30 years of experience, he delivers strategic, forward-thinking, and practical solutions to private clients, entrepreneurs, corporations, and financial institutions — always with a distinctly international outlook.
Before launching his firm in 1992, Bernard served as Head of Legal for a Swiss private bank, giving him rare dual insight into both legal and financial worlds across jurisdictions. His background allows him to navigate complex cross-border challenges with agility and vision.
Bernard holds a Law degree and a postgraduate diploma in European Studies from Université Catholique de Louvain, and completed his certification in Luxembourg law at the University of Luxembourg. He is a member of the International Tax Specialist Group (ITSG) and is a frequent speaker at major corporate and tax conferences across Europe.
